Ipe Decking Reviews

Jon, I received the shipment today at my home via Con-Way Freight, right on time. It could not have gone any better. The Ipe was neatly bundled for delivery. The truck driver knew what to do and between us the unloading went quickly. After he left I spent a long time admiring the wood. It is exactly as described on your website. Wonderful tight grain, dense, straight, beautiful red-brown color throughout.

I set about restacking and sorting the lengths, expecting to grade and organize the pieces by appearance and defects. I soon found that was unnecessary. Every piece was uniformly good. I found a couple lengths with machine marks and scuffs on one side--the flip side of each was perfect.

Now there's nothing left to worry about other than to make sure my work shows this stuff off in the best possible way. It'll be a real pleasure doing that.

My sincere thanks to you and the Advantage Trim and Lumber team for providing an excellent product, a very good web site experience, and great service. I will recommend your company to anyone I know who is looking to build with quality material.

I just wanted to tell you that the recent Ipe decking package that I receive was in great shape. This was the first time I had ordered from you and was quite pleased. I would not hesitate to order from Advantage again. The wood is a little difficult to work with due to its weight and hardness but the end result was beautiful...
