The Winners!

1^st Place - Dave E.

San Clemente, CA - The deck and the covered seating area include a built-in BBQ and Koi pond. The deck was constructed with 1x6+Plus® Ipe. All exterior vertical pond and bar walls were first covered in cement fiberboard, then a wood mosaic consisting of Ipe and Cumaru glued to the exterior walls. This lumber was the result of hundreds of waste cut pieces of wood repurposed from the Ipe deck and prior Cumaru fence project, then further ripped into random blocks. The pond serves as additional bench seating. The recirculating bog filter is planted with California native rush.
