Orchard Park, New York - IPE deck, my wife and I took up the old pressure treated decking and installed new IPE with hidden fastness. We used deck wrap on all joists. The railings are Fiberon symnetry with aluminum balusters. This is three level to pool deck system lower area stamped concrete. Can not thank the people at Advantage lumber enough for all the help. If you are thinking of doing this yourself, you can, just takes a little extra time. My wife and I are in our sixty's, we did it.
Tuckahoe, NY - My husband and I are both architects and designed and built this deck on our house together. We used Cumaru. When we found the Cumaru on your website, we fell in love with it. It did not disappoint. We thought it was easy to work with and is just beautiful. We applied the Ipe Oil to it. Because of our small yard, we wanted a small, intimate deck off of our living room. We wanted it to be an extension of our living room, with comfortable seating built-in seating. We just completed the deck. On the right hand side, behind the bench, there is a built-in planter where we will plant grasses in the spring time.

Cheshire, MA - I built this Cumaru entrance for a friend of mine in Islamorada in the FL Keys the end of April, FYI, his name is Bobby Dube, an FWC officer for the Keys. All of the edges on the 1x6 were routered with a 45 degree bevel, the 2x6's were also beveled and a 3/4" deep dado for the 1x6 to go into, sorry, but I did not purchase the pre made post caps or top rails, I milled my own, I also rapped the posts with 1x6's ( mitered corners), The gate 2x6's are all mortise and tenon joints held together with glue and timber lock screws, the gate is very heavy, but I guarantee will never sag or rack, I absolutely loved working with the Cumaru, I'm heading back down to the Keys in December for 4-5 months, I have two other projects at the home that Cumaru will be used.
Reno, NV - I had some IPE decking left over from a project I completed and made an outdoor table with it. Because of the dry weather conditions where I live I had to seal the materials thoroughly.
Los Angeles, CA- I designed the deck in Google Sketchup and decided to use Tigerwood. I used Ipe oil to protect it and it really came out nice.
Leonard, Michigan - I designed around ipe deck tiles, it is new in June of 2017. I choose the ipe tiles because the deck has a pitched ruber EDM roof under the decking so i needed a stable material to use. Also used white azek trime for stair risers and deck facia board to show off the Ice beautiful colors. For the railing i choose Black post sleeves and galvinized tubing which i also think realy acsent the ice well.
I installed this cumaru rainscreen siding finished with Ipe oil in September 2016. I capped the ends with hot rolled mill steel. It really makes the exterior of our mid-century modern home pop.
Modesto, CA - Ipe decking and railing handles for Master Spa 15 Deep Swim Spa. Designed on allow simplified unrolling of the spa cover while standing on the 3-step side. Upper deck allows for easy spa access and is wide enough to provide deck seating. Railing is stainless steel cable to maximize garden views. LED lights are utilized to illuminate steps. The deck substructure is constructed of clear redwood and is designed to allow removal of spa side panels if maintenance is required.
Amherst, NY - House located in historic Buffalo area, where each house have unique architectural features, build in late 1800 and early 1900 hundreds, City of Buffalo NY trying to preserve this historical area for a good cause, lots of visitors come to this old Queen City and Niagara Falls to enjoy the architecture and one of a kind scenery at the falls, in any season of the year it’s always beautiful here, especially for a Garden walk in July. Home owner ask to use IPE wood, to be more exact we installed 1x4x10 Ipe (Approx. Finished Size: 3/4” x 3-1/2” x 10’) on the front porch and 5/4x6x6 Ipe (Approx. Finished Size: 1” x 5-1/2” x 6’) with anti slip profile on stairs, railing was made out of pressure treated and to be painted.
Mount Prospect, IL - In the summer of 2016 my husband and I built the shed and used your tigerwood siding for the doors and part of the side wall. It was definitely a hit in our neighborhood since usually everyone has store bought sheds. This year we decided to take it to another level because we did not like how you could see that the shed was built on foundation posts. I came up with an idea of building a small deck around it, so that besides it being a functional space for our storage, it could also serve as a spot to relax in our backyard. Since we liked your product last time, we went again with Advantage Lumber for the tigerwood decking. We are definitely proud of our project and hope that you will like it as well! Lexington, MA - This is a Ipe rooftop deck over a new 2 car garage. Prefab. 2'x2' panels on plastic pedestal connectors sitting directly on a EPDM membrane roof. The roof deck is pitched to one side where stainless steel cable rails are used; no upturned wood privacy wall, to allow for drainage. This project was completed in Jan. 2016.
Buena Park, Ca - Custom Ipe parquet. Also used Ipe for the bar and fireplace. Did them with carved out 5/4x12 Ipe. Did the ceiling beams wrapped with 1x6 Ipe.
