"I built this deck this past year using Ipe. It is part of about 1500 sq ft of out door living space. As you can see in the picture there's a bar down stairs that's part of a full kitchen. It's kind of hard to pick which part of the deck is the most special feature but if you see the wood band in the middle section that is covering up a steel beam that was used to give the spacing between post for the bar area to give a more non obstructive view of the number 5 fairway."

"All the cabinets and the double doors were built on site."

"The stair stringers are also made of Ipe."

"One of the special features on this project is there are no nails used on the framing structure all the joist and blocking for the diagonal decking and all the Ipe is drilled screwed and then holes are plugged. "
